My maiden voyage to Colorado, specifically to photograph Laura and Seth's engagement, remains an unforgettable chapter in my life. Colorado's mountains, reaching dizzying heights of 12,500 ft, were quite literally breath-taking, their beauty serving as an idyllic backdrop for the couple's love. Laura and Seth, the warm souls they are, opened their home to me for the duration of the trip, reaffirming my belief in the power of client connection. Immersing myself in their world, capturing the palpable, intimate bond they shared through my lens, was a privilege and a joy. This experience didn't just yield a series of photos; it birthed friendships that I cherish deeply. Their hospitality was as heartwarming to me as the photos were treasured by them.The grandeur of the photos directly mirrors the profound love Laura and Seth share, with each image resonating their affection and companionship. I am absolutely thrilled to share with you one of the most enchanting weddings I've had the privilege to attend and capture - the magical union of Stefany and Ethan Ross. It was held in the quaint, picturesque town of Versailles, Kentucky, a location that added an extra sprinkle of charm to their special day. The moment I arrived at the venue, I was blown away. An idyllic setting that perfectly encapsulated Stefany and Ethan's love story, complete with rolling hills, a backdrop of lush greenery, and the soft murmur of a nearby stream. I was instantly transported into a romantic fairy tale. The ceremony was nothing short of stunning. Underneath a grand, centuries-old oak tree adorned with delicate fairy lights, Stefany and Ethan exchanged their vows. Their love for each other was palpable, causing many a teary eye among the guests, including yours truly. As the sun began to set, casting a golden halo on the newlyweds, the outdoor reception commenced. Tables draped in soft white linen were set up around the pool, and the entire area was illuminated by twinkling string lights. The atmosphere was just breathtaking - it was as if we were dining under a blanket of stars. But what truly made this wedding a standout was the pool party. Yes, you read that right! Stefany and Ethan decided to add a splash of fun to their wedding, quite literally. As the music kicked in, guests of all ages started to dance around the pool. The joyous laughter and the rhythmic beats created a contagiously upbeat atmosphere. The highlight? Well, when Ethan, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, scooped up his beautiful bride and jumped into the pool! The crowd went wild, and it wasn't long before everyone joined in, creating a wave of fun and laughter that echoed into the night. Capturing these moments was an absolute blast! Every smile, every laugh, every dance step, and the pure, unadulterated joy of Stefany and Ethan's special day - I felt incredibly lucky to be a part of it. With my camera in hand, I danced, laughed, and celebrated with everyone, all while immortalizing these precious moments. It was a celebration that perfectly encapsulated their personalities - fun, adventurous, and deeply in love. As I left the party, soaked from the pool and grinning from ear to ear, I realized that this was more than just a wedding. Reid is THE best photographer by far! When planning my wedding I was so indecisive on vendors, but as soon as I saw Reid’s work and talked to him, I knew he was the photographer for us!! He was so easy and fun to work with. His personality made the whole process even that much better. Everyone from the wedding still compliments just how great and kind he was! And did I mention his photos are phenomenal?! Seriously has a great eye! Definitely will be booking him again for family photos!
